Un mélange d’art et de maroquinerie
To put a spotlight on creativity, Le Tanneur has partnered with artist Enfant Précoce to create a capsule collection that combines both art and expertise. Discover the results of this meeting of our workshops and an artist whose limits know no bounds and which combines the words "creation" and "imagination".
Originaire du Cameroun, Francis Essoua Kalu est un ancien danseur devenu plasticien, puis peintre, et demeure avant tout un artiste autodidacte multi-disciplinaire particulièrement inspiré. Ses œuvres sont réalisées à l’acrylique, à l’huile ou au stylo et dévoilent une imagination sans limites, réfléchie et colorée, évoquant notamment le cubisme de Picasso, une touche de spiritualité en prime. Pour cette collaboration, il est venu poser son œil d’artiste sur notre iconique cabas Louise, ainsi qu’une nouvelle pochette zippée imaginée et conçue dans nos ateliers.
Carte blanche à Enfant Précoce
Originally from Cameroon, Francis Essoua Kalu is a former dancer turned plastic surgeon turned painter who above all remains a very inspired self-taught multi-disciplinary artist. His works are made with acrylic, oil or pen and express his limitless imagination, thoughtful and colourful, that especially evokes the Cubism of Picasso with an added dash of spirituality. As part of this collaboration, Essoua Kalu put his artistic spin on our iconic Louise tote bag, as well as a new zip-up clutch bag imagined and designed in our workshops.

A piece that captures the enthralling imagination of Alice in Wonderland and which has been created exclusively as part of this collaboration. There are only 65 of each design. Decorated in the artist's famously vibrant choice of colours, each tote bag is made in France and is individually numbered.

Sarah a grandi dans le sud de la France et s’inspire pour cela de la simplicité et la beauté des objets de son quotidien. Ses œuvres sont une véritable fenêtre ouverte sur la Méditerranée, un clin d’œil direct à notre collection printemps-été 2021.
