Full Grain Smooth Cowhide
Fullgrain bullcalf leather brings together suppleness and a very elegant silkiness. This exceptional leather is worked in a width of over 2 mm to highlight its natural grain. It is consistent and uniform to craft a traditional leather goods creation. Fullgrain leather is a leather whose surface had remained natural and intact. It is the most noble part of the leather, and that which we favor.
Beige Microfiber Lining
The microfiber fabric offers a striking contrast between the different aspects of the materials that make up the bag, while adding great softness and a unique elegance. This lining is found, for example, inside our Elena line, a bag whose large volumes offer a sublime perspective on this material rarely worked by our workshops.

french savoir-faire SINCE 1898
Full-grain leather
At Le Tanneur, we uncover the most beautiful materials and we always skillfully work with “full-grain” leather. It’s the most noble part of leather, and that which we choose to use. Thus, 100% of the leathers used for our FW25 collection come from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), a certification that evaluates tanneries worldwide.
An ethical production
Le Tanneur’s partner workshops in Europe, North Africa, and Asia follow our Ethical Charter. Each season, we prioritize production in our French workshops in the Pays de la Loire and we offer collections like Sans Couture, Louise, the 125, and our beautiful Madeleine, all crafted in France.
our commitments
Le Tanneur uses recycled materials with full-grain leather for durable pieces. Leather scraps are repurposed for watch and jewelry boxes, mostly made from recycled leather. All packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials, using FSC and PEFC certified paper and solvent-free vegetable-based inks, ensuring sustainability.
